Lately I've been feeling depressed and just crappy all around. I think it has to do with pretty much everything. Me and Gamar are doing really good still but we've both put on weight and our insecurities are starting to kick in on both ends. We spoke about it last night and joined the Lance Armstrong health site that's free (livestrong.com) and we took on each different personal goals. We spoke about how we felt about ourselves which I think was really important.
One thing that has been bothering me is that since I'm still temp I don't get paid as much as I had expected to by now. I can't really complain too much cause I least I have a job but, man, my bills and expenses are starting to take a toll on me. I'm upset that I can't give as much as I would like for Christmas. I know it's the thought and the people who surround you, I've always preached that to people, but I can't help but feel like I owe it to people to give them gifts that make them happy.
I guess when you feel like you want to do more and you just can't it takes a toll on how you feel. I'm trying to stay positive and just enjoy my days and all that good stuff lol.
Ok enough depressing crap! I've posted my junk for the day :P

I made polenta stuffed peppers (which were amazing and a huge hit) and a hot spinach dip which was equally as good. All of course with veggies and crackers. I had to make sure there was veggie stuff for me to eat as well =)
Overall, it was nice to hang out with the family and just relax. We brought Sushi of course and she had a ton of fun also. She was so all over the place, she ended up knocking out in the car ride home. Just like a baby.

I always find that there are times where I don't post an entry for quite some time and then I go lj crazy lol. Well here's the catchup stuff.
My job hasn't said anything about going permanent yet but they said hopefully it will be soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I started working here in February so I really hope its before then. That would suck if it was after. I don't have any medical coverage so I want to get all my doctor visits taken care of. Boo to the workforce! lol. Honestly I'm good with any time before Christmas so I can get that bonus check!
Then there's poor Gamar. Our relationship has just been great. I'd say maybe one or two arguments over the past 6 months so I can't complain there. And only one really being an argument really. We're lucky :)
Unfortunatley he sprained his ankle like 1 1/2 yrs ago and its been bothering him every day since. They took xray's back in the day and they said it was fine but it was still bothering him. After me really nagging him about the damn doctor cause I was sick of his complaints he went and they took an MRI. Low and behold he needs some major surgery. Apparently his bone is fine (which is what the xray saw) but the MRI showed that the ligaments were all torn up and there was a lot of cartilage damage. He has to have surgery to repair the ligaments and some inserts to separate the bones so that new cartilege will start to form. Crazy right!
Hmm what else....well me & Alex have been going to the gym which has been awesome. Well last week we slacked off but we're back on track. We even have a training session tomorrow! I think I need to do more cardio stuff so she might have to get her own locker lock :P or join me! Get wedding dress ready!
Oh and I finally ordered my iPhone yesterday after waiting too long for Teri to hook me up. Damn hookups! I hate when people say they have the hook up and they front on you when you call them! And in this case call, email and contact sister as well lol. Oh well it's okay. As long as I get my phone its cool. In all honesty I'm only getting it cause it comes out to the same amount that the BB would come out to for me. I always loved the BB and planned on getting that one but for just a few bucks more I can get the iPhone so that's the story with that one.
Wow I thought I had nothing to write about and this is really long! Oh and Crys & Alex we gotta chill more often! And Crys never gave me her work schedule *stares hard*

aguamyst for getting me addicted! I figured it would be up today but I guess not. I guess I'll resort to doing homework or reading my book. So this weekend went as follows:
Friday was Paula's birthday dinner so we went to this fabulous restaurant in Jersey called Rio 22. Simply delicous. After dinner we went to a lounge in Newark (which had way too many under age kids) for about an hour or so and called it a night. I got home at like 4am and woke up at 8:30 so I can go to the gym but I decided I was too damn tired so I did ghetto stretches at the house, cleaned the whole house and the got ready for Teri's son's 2nd bday bbq. Oh and yes we waited until the very last minute to get her a gift so we had to do that first.
After Teri's bbq we went to Gamar's sister-in-law's bbq in queens. Her dad was diagnosed with cancer so instead of doing a night dinner she did a fabulous Indonesian bbq at her dad's house.
**For the record, Indonesian grilled shrimp are slammin!
After that bbq we then went to Gamar's cousin's loft party in Fort Greene for a little bit and finally made it back to the house by 2am. Oh but of course I had to wake up early on Sunday because I promised Miss Crystal I'd be at her house Sunday morning at 11am. We went to this (ghetto) flea market in SI. Don't recommend anyone ever go lol; barnes and nobles; lowes and party city.
Then lunch then sleepy me set in. At about 6 I had to go home cause I was ready to lay down on her living room floor in my lil dress and take a nap with the baby lol.
Overall, very busy weekend and yes plans for the gym tonight are a definite.

Apparently her kids were calling her for days and no one got any responses. Finally one of her daughters called and left a message on Saturday that she was on her way. When no one answered the door she panicked and called Felix. He immediately drove over and when he got there they called the police. Sure enough the police came and they found her in the apartment dead.
Here's the even more crazy part. She died on Thursday! The hospital told them that she must have gotten up in the middle of the night and somehow fell and banged her head in the corner of her nightstand. She must have hit her head pretty damn hard because when they found her all of the blood had drained from her body...
This just freaking crazy! This stuff doesn't happen in real life, only on the lifetime network!!

MALE PROCEDURE:
1. Drive up to the cash machine.
2. Put down your car window.
3. Insert card into machine and enter PIN.
4. Enter amount of cash required and withdraw.
5. Retrieve card, cash and receipt.
6. Put window up.
7. Drive off.

1. Drive up to cash machine.
2. Reverse and back up the required amount to align car window with the machine.
3. Set parking brake, put the window down.
4. Find handbag, remove all contents on to passenger seat to locate card.
5. Tell person on cell phone you will call them back and hang up.
6. Attempt to insert card into machine.
7. Open car door to allow easier access to machine due to its excessive distance from the car.
8. Insert card.
9. Re-insert card the right way.
10. Dig through handbag to find diary with your PIN written on the inside back page.
11. Enter PIN.
12. Press cancel and re-enter correct PIN.
13. Enter amount of cash required.
14. Check makeup in rear view mirror.
15. Retrieve cash and receipt .
16. Empty handbag again to locate wallet and place cash inside.
17. Write debit amount in check register and place receipt in back of checkbook.
18. Re-check makeup.
19. Drive forward 2 feet.
20. Reverse back to cash machine.
21. Retrieve card.
22. Re-empty hand bag, locate card holder, and place card into the slot provid ed!
23. Give dirty look to irate male driver waiting behind you.
24. Restart stalled engine and pull off. ;
25. Redial person on cell phone.
26. Drive for 2 to 3 miles.
27. Release Parking Brake.

My hours end at 5:30 but I received a call at 5 asking if I can sit for an attorney that will need help today so of course I said yes....then I heard those words........its until 9:30 pm but that won't cause a problem right.......I thought about it and I said yes that's fine.....

SO........
I was told to go to an attorney's office and she'll give me work, so of course I mosey on over. She then tells me they're running behind schedule and won't have any work to give me for about another hour or so, I can sit at the secretary's desk and she'll bring it over.
Its now 7:05 and I haven't done anything. BY ALL MEANS I am NOT complaining since I'm reading some homework but at the same time its weird sitting at someone elses desk not doing anything at all.
Ugh I wanna go home :(
Today is Gamar's best friends birthday and we were supposed to go out with him and his girlfriend but it doesn't look like I'll be able to go.
Also I read that they will pay for a car to take you home if you work past 8pm but then it says they'll take me to the nearest train if its out of the city.....weird....

I just wanted to say that I love being able to grab whatever I want for lunch and sitting in the sun at Battery Park....
A lil background....
My job is right by the park soooo me and my cousin Matt went to this Indian restaurant (he's been trying to take me out there since I started working here) (oh and we work together) ohhh and I knew the food was going to be delicious cause there were a lot of Indians eating there I was happy. So we took our food, mine being Vegetarian food, to the park and ate there. I then kept up a conversation completely lounging on the bench while he vented about his relationship and some stuff that sounded like blah blah blahs to me and actually got some sun. My coworker said I look like I got color so I'm so freaking ready for the summer!!!!!
OH and before I forget...
